BOOKKEEPING USING QUICKBOOKS

You as the business owner need to know how well (or poorly) your business is doing at any given time. We provide end-to-end bookkeeping services from bank and credit card reconciliation, monthly adjustments, and other account reconciliations so that your books can be fresh on a monthly basis! Only need your books to be compiled on an annual basis? We can help too!

We know you don't enjoy dealing with your tax preparer every year. Since we manage your books, let me take this off your plate so you can focus your time and effort on growing your business!

COMPILING MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

We strive to complete our month-end procedures within 15 days of the prior month's close. We generate financial statements (i.e. income statements and balance sheets) so that you can understand how your month went.

WHY USE QUICKBOOKS?

We do all of its bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online because it allows you the freedom to move the service, and pick whomever the tax preparer you want to work with in the future.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACCRUAL AND CASH BOOKKEEPING?

Cash bookkeeping only tracks when money enters or leaves a bank account. Accrual bookkeeping is a more sophisticated approach that records when the money was earned or owed. Most larger companies use accrual methods.

HOW DO I GET MY DOCUMENTS TO YOU?

Dropbox/Box is our preferred, we also use, Google Drive, OneDrive, and email. We can conform to any process that makes your life easier.

ARE AP/AR SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE BOOKKEEPING SERVICE?

They are not included by default, but you can add them to any plan. Feel free to bring this up during our initial meeting!

ARE TAXES INCLUDED IN THE BOOKKEEPING?

We do not do taxes or give tax advice. However, we do work with your tax preparer so that they can get your taxes filed on time. Need recommendation? Ask us!

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY FINANCIAL REPORTS EVERY MONTH?

Our goal date is the 15th of each month for the prior month's closing. Situations that can delay this process are open items, documents, and questions that are waiting to be received in order to finish up.

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE IF YOU ARE VIRTUAL?

You can call, text, email, facetime, Zoom, Google Meet, etc. One thing that we have all learned during the pandemic is to be flexible. We try to accommodate you in any way we can.

DO YOU DO PAYROLL?

Yes, we use Gusto to run payroll so that Gusto can take care of all the payroll tax filings on your behalf! We’ll ensure the details from each pay run are accounted for in your financial records and reconciled against your bank statement.

DO THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES ON QBO AND GUSTO INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY RECURRING FEES?

No, it does not. The customer will be responsible for paying the subscription fees to those platforms and applications.

HOW MUCH DOES PISTOS COST?

We charge a flat monthly fee based on your needs and requirements.
